Our founders

Lair Champion and Bryan Phillips are the co-founders of Champion & Phillips Holdings. Both attended the University of Southern California.

    Co-Founder

    Lair Champion graduated from the University of Southern California's Viterbi School of Engineering with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering and now works in an environmental role in industry. At USC, Lair co-founded the venture FungiFix and served as president of the university's chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, experiences that combined technical work, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

    Bryan Phillips

    Co-Founder

    Bryan Phillips graduated from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business with a degree in business administration and an emphasis in real estate finance, and now works as a portfolio management analyst. Bryan's earlier experience includes internships in commercial banking and real estate development, serving as president of LavaLab, a student-run entrepreneurship incubator at USC, and starting a mobile car-detailing business.
